The garden is going well, I've planted spearmint and orange mint, and even a two-colored pineapple mint! (should be pretty in vials once its roots are well established.) Otherwise, everything is happy and growing, except the okra isn't getting any taller, nor flowering; and the cucumber that I trellised isn't flourishing enough to make cucumbers (it made two good ones, and the rest are all turning brown on the vine before they get a half inch long.) I know we've gotten plenty of rain, so that's not it; and the ground is well fertilized, ,so that's not it. Should be getting plenty of light, though maybe not enough for the cucumber, though I'd hoped trellising it vertically would help with that. Still haven't fired up the grill yet, but that's more due to money and scheduling issues than anything else.
Of course, August is also my 5th anniversary of leaving Nashville, at the end of the month - which means when October rolls around, it'll be my 5th anniversary of coming to NYC! Might try and do something special for that.
And speaking of, I noticed I just got under 2,000 pageviews before my next kiriban. So, keep your eyes peeled. This will be my 50,000, so I might do something extra special. Maybe a free custom Magic Vial Pendant with no price cap? Or maybe a custom request of *anything* I've ever sold for free (that I can still make. I couldn't recreate the Fairy Queen bath salts from my From Faerie line because violets aren't in bloom this time of year. Same with not being able to make Lilac themed vials right now. Oh, to be at the mercy of the blooming season!)

Though, I suppose when it comes time, I'll have to phrase it better for legal reasons. I obviously don't have access to real diamonds, nor pure gold, in case anyone out there was thinking about just being a jerk. Also, there's the physical limitations to how much will fit in a vial (I know some people have asked for more than 5 gemstones in one piece, and they just wouldn't fit without making them all dust, which, defeats the point.)
