Snow

Journal Entry: Tue Jan 11, 2011, 11:06 AM
Hmmm, been a LOT of snow.

So, I've been home one week now (well, I will have been home for one week in a few more hours, but that's really splitting hairs, now isn't it?) and have mostly been just trying to readjust back and getting the daily life in order.  I had started to make a new pendant, and do a repair for a loyal customer, but found that my garden is pretty much buried under more snow than I can get through.  I took a shovel, briefly, to the spot my thyme used to occupy only to find I wasn't going to be able to dig it out.

Plus, we're supposed to be getting a big storm in tonight, too!  Oy.  I brought back fresh cedar pieces from Mississippi, if only I could remember where I put them when I unpacked.  My lavender has come to live inside (did months ago) but seems to be in a strange sprouting period I've never seen before, and I'm hesitant to disturb it.

I do, now, have my own 3-in-1 printer, so I should really start back up on logo/labeling designs for the long delayed "From Faerie" bath product line.  I have at least one 16oz glass jar of "Fairy Milkmaid" done, I just need to actually figure out how to do the label.

Also, on a personal note, I seem to be having a very bizarre physical. . not exactly ailment, it doesn't seem nearly bad enough for me to say I'm "sick," but it is becoming quite the nuisance and a little worrisome.  I've just gotten a new batch of vitamins and tons of fruits and veg and some fish, and hoping that will sort it all out.  If it persists, I guess I'll have to go see a doctor, even if that pretty much means going to the hospital up here, and I expect it would be nothing but lots of expensive tests that would come out to tell me nothing.  Hrrrmmm.  Still, it's slowed me down for the past couple of days, though it tends to get a lot better later in the evening.  Hopefully it'll sort itself out soon.
