I apparently spoke too soon. Seems my unemployment RE-expired; other issues continue to consist of fail, epic fail, and OMG fail; AND I spent Saturday in the ER trauma ward with what I was sure was a broken foot. My foot, thankfully, was not broken, but I was given morphine, a splint, crutches, a 'scrip for codeine and instructions that I won't be moving much for quite a while.
So, I'm just crawling under a rock to hide until I die.
