How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Hester St. Fair - Redeux

YUP! I just paid my fees, so it's official!  I will be at the Hester Street Fair on Saturday, July 10th! Under the {NewNew} street team tent!

So, if you're in the NYC area, go to the corner of Hester St. & Essex St. at the corner of Seward Park!  10am - 6pm!  I believe I've heard they're even adding a green market out front.  [link] is the website for any more information or specifics you might need.

I'm also thinking of going and having my watercolor "swirly" Unicorn and Torre Argentina paintings made into prints.  Maybe one 9x12 of each, but thinking doing them more as 6x4s.  And I do have plastic sleeves now for all of my prints except the two really big ones I'm not in any desire to repeat.

Will be making new necklaces for the event, as well as selling whatever is currently in my shop that's still there up to July 9th.  The homemade bath bombs went over really well last time, so I'll definitely have to make more of them.

And, for those not in NYC, umm. .. just a little over 1,500 page views and it'll be another give away!  These things have a horrible habit of sneaking up on me, so I'll remind you early.  The dead-on screen cap (or closest to it) for when I hit 40,000 page views gets a free item from Izile's Oddities (normally, this is a magic vial necklace, but if anyone requested a print or a scrub jar, or whatever, yeah, that'd be fine, too.)  Second closest gets 50% off any item on my etsy shop, and sometimes, if they're really close, I'll give a 3rd prize that's like 10-25% off. . . it just depends.
