Rosebud Garnet Earrings

I've had a bugger of a time trying to photograph these guys. The etsy listing has more photos. The ones with the light that shows off what the garnets look like in person tend to make the sterling silver come out so shiny and white that it obscures the details; while lighting that shows the details in the sterling silver make the gemstones look darker and duller than they really are.

Anyway, I like these, kind of Victoriana in my mind. Sterling silver post back stud earrings sculpted into rosebuds, each holding a 3 mm prong set deep red Garnet. (The total carat weight of both garnets together is right around 1/3rd carat).

Cute, simple, and very affordable.
