Fairy Food

I finally figured out how I wanted to fill this empty bottle.

This is a perfect little bottle of fairy food to temp sprites into your home, to attract fairies to you, or to decorate your alter with, as an offering for the fae.

This bottle is decorated with sparkly and sequined pink fabric butterflies, has a "cap" of iridescent pink and gold raw silk that is tied on with a pink satin ribbon.

The bottle is filled with porridge, poppy seeds, sunflower seeds, red quinoa, saffron threads, lemon thyme, and honeycomb. (All ingredients are dry and uncooked, except for the lemon thyme which was fresh from my garden).

All of these ingredients have long historical associations to be specific favorites of fairies (with the exception of red quinoa, which I used because fairy food is often rumored to be red, and consist of many grains, so, red quinoa is an organic, all natural, red grain: perfect fit!)

This vial will obviously only be available for domestic shipping.

Things you can add to it, once it's safe and sound in your home, that the fairies might also like: cream or milk (powdered if you want to keep it "dry"), butter, dried fruits, flower buds from fairy plants, or non-rolled oats.
